The Malt Whisky Agency is a family run business based in the heart of Scotland within the beautiful hills of Stirling who have spent years exploring and learning everything about Malt Whisky, and now specialise in sourcing and providing rare and limited edition malt whisky to customers from around the world.


They needed their website to perform better, and fast, so a decision was made to carry out a complete website overhaul. The old website was visibly old and extremely clunky. With such high cost products aiming to be sold through the website, it was important that it was transformed into a friendly and reliable user experience, where customers trusted the website (and the business) to handle their money and get their products to them safely and efficiently.

Peaches Wax Bar is an award-winning waxing and aesthetics salon, with locations in Glasgow’s Merchant City Centre and Falkirk Town Centre. With over 19,000 customers on record, the salon is known for it’s pain-free and meticulous services for both males and females.


Peaches approached me to build them a brand new website, that would sit alongside their re-brand. The site was to be arty, funky and fun yet showcase the professionalism of their staff and what they offer. After launch, Peaches Wax Bar decided to stick with me in my website maintenance package, to ensure the site remained up to date and secure.


Peaches Wax Bar also joined the Made By Meg Monthly Content Programme.

Sean Fontana is the owner of Fontana Fit and has been working in the fitness industry for 12 years doing both online coaching and 1-2-1 personal training in Glasgow, London and America. He isn’t a trainer who is a “do as I say, not as I do.” type of trainer, he lives and breathes fitness also with a background in elite level distance running having competed for his country Nationally and Internationally. He understands what it takes to achieve goals at any level and the demons we may face along the way, and helps hundreds of people combat them.


From initial email conversations through to design, it was clear Sean had given thought to his website and knew what look and feel he wanted to achieve with it, he just needed help getting there. Having never found someone who would build a website that produced results within his price range, he had never invested into it. Sean’s website at the moment was built based on lead generation, however we do have exciting plans to turn this into an Ecommerce website when Sean is ready, allowing him to sell training plans, merchandise and more through his website.

EN Awards Best Consumer Marketing Campain of the Year


IGNITION Festival of Motoring was Scotland’s largest motoring event with 25,000 attendees coming through to doors both years, celebrating all this motoring topped off with a never-done-before specially constructed street circuit. The event required working with David Coulthard, Red Bull Racing Formula One, Mark Webber, Team Japspeed, Shane Lynch, Mercedes, x5 Rally Legends, Manufacturers and much more.


Working closely with one of the UK’s largest event companies, I was responsible for launching and managing all social channels throughout the campaigns with a key objective to drive ticket sales. Building on an extremely engaged audience, the social channels were used as a news release and to visually showcase everything the event would bring to life. Email marketing campaigns were also carried out, alongside website updates and support on the general online marketing strategy.

18 Springpark Road is a wonderful self-catering home located on the most northerly island in the UK, Unst in The Shetland Islands. The 3 bedroom semi-detached house centrally situated in Baltasound and is open all year round for leisure and business stays. It’s front windows overlook the Voe (Bay) of Baltasound with spectacular views and the house sits in a popular spot for those who love wildlife.


Promoting the self catering home through 3rd party websites was resulting in commission fees being outlayed for the owners of this property, and so they were looking for a website that would allow people to book direct. The website also aimed to make the booking process much simpler and quicker. Through the use of colours and layout the website reflected the interior of the home and aims to make users feel ‘at home’ once they’re on the site. An integrated online booking system was fully set up and also linked with the website allowing the site to facilitate online bookings and payments.

The Irn Bru Carnival is perhaps one of Glasgow largest and long-standing festive events, with the carnival encompassing a huge space within the Scottish Event Campus. With something for everyone, the carnival brings to life a huge choice of kids rides, thrill rides, family rides, carnival games and much more.


Working closely with the carnivals Marketing Manager to ensure the social channels reflected campaign objectives, all social profiles for the Irn Bru Carnival were managed alongside regular email marketing campaigns being issued. Website updates included the addition of event rides, ticketing information and ensuring all information was up to date and relevant to the event coming up.

Olympus PT is owned by Kirk O’Brien, a x3 IFBB Champion and has twice placed top 6 in the UK for his bodybuilding class. Kirk and Siobhan O’Brien both operate Olympus PT, offering 1-2-1 Personal Training sessions out of Extreme Gym Glasgow and also offering online coaching. 


Kirk and Siobhan approached me to help take their business to the next level, as they not only wanted a website to launch they also wanted to launch their own membership zone. The members zone gives people the option of a monthly or annual payment, sets up their membership and gives private access to certain areas of the website. The members zone integrates directly with PayPal.

1st Pizza Direct is a popular takeaway with branches located in Inverness, Nairn and Culloden. With a full range of quality food prepared from quality ingredients and locally sourced, their menu offers a wide range of meals to suit all tastes.


1st Pizza Direct were looking for an updated website with a sole aim to drive online orders and app downloads. Having recently signed up to Order Sumo, it was important the website gave sufficient information about their app and encouraged those visiting the website to order online via the integrated Order Sumo system. 1st Pizza Direct now have a bespoke website and a bespoke app that gives them opportunity to push business even further.

Visit Unst is the tourism brand attached to the most northerly island in the UK – Unst, The Shetland Islands. The island attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, with a specific interest given to wildlife, scenic beauty, walking and traditions. Visit Unst aims to promote the incredible island of Unst to raise awareness and drive tourism.  


With the new Visit Unst brand, a new website was required that would showcase all that the island has to offer in a simplistic fashion. With so much to see and do, it was important the website was easy to navigate and gave opportunity to local businesses. This website received thousands of hits each month, and gives enough information that allows visitors to plan ahead.

Darren Malaly is a Personal Trainer and Online Coach based in Glasgow who has been bodybuilding and building knowledge in the fitness industry for over 12 years. He aims to help people change their lives, just like he did. Through trial and error, he has learned what works and what doesn’t work when it comes to building muscle, burning bodyfat and changing body composition.


Darren was referred to me by a friend, and was a pleasure to work with on building his new website. He had never had a website before, but was familiar with what he was looking for having already visualised things himself. With my help, and a few tweaks along the way, he now has a website that backs his brand and drives more business for him than ever.

An unmissable weekend for brides and grooms to be, with up to 300 of the UK’s leading wedding suppliers in attendance. The Scottish Wedding Show takes place twice per year at Scotland’s largest events and exhibition space, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).


Working closely with their Senior Marketing Manager to ensure the social channels reflected campaign objectives, all social profiles for the Scottish Wedding Show were managed alongside regular email marketing campaigns being issued. Kings Barber Shop is the home for todays modern man and woman offering haircuts, fades, beard shape-ups, and old-fashioned straight edge razor shaves using only their very own top of the line products for men and women who know what they want and how they want to look. The Best Barber Shop in Scotland.


Having met Kings Barbers through an event, Jo was keen for some videography to happen instore to showcase the shop, the barbers and how they work. The 2 minute promotional video was made to reflect the stylish brand that has already been built, and what customers receive when they arrive for a fresh fade. Jo was so happy we’re heading back to create more content on a regular basis to take the brand to the next level.

Sophie Brewster is a WBFF Pro, USN Athlete, YouTubers and Versa Forma Athlete, ispiring girls across the world to get fit and look after themselves. Sophie is a competitive bodybuilder, having placed 3rd USA in the Fitness Model category.


Since June 2019 I’ve been supporting Sophie across her YouTube channel for her 2019 Prep Series, providing her with cinematic lifestyle and training edits that she can incorporate into her vlog to bring the series to new levels. Ongoing until November 2019 – subscribe here!

Emma & Jay – Highlights For Social


Emma and Jay got married in July 2019 in sunny Cyprus with just close family and friends in attendance.


Although invited as a guest, I also set out to capture a few highlights of the day that could be turned around quickly for Emma and Jay to share on their social channels for their friends and family in the UK. It was an excellent way for them to be able to quickly share online their big day as they await their final video edit from the videographer in Cyprus who was with them from early morning until night.
